Unnoticed Steps

Unnoticed Steps - reports from recent immigrants in Curitiba is a book commit to humanitarian journalism and the privilege of telling stories of immigrants who chose Curitiba as their new home. This project is the result of the work of four journalists in training at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR), developed as part of their course completion. Over the course of seven months, we dedicated ourselves to researching characters, investigating the topic, conducting in-depth interviews and collecting data to compose a portrait of the immigrants' experiences.

Climate projections in Curitiba: the use of Artificial Intelligence in the future of the environment

The goal is to explore and experiment with the use of Artificial Intelligence in journalism, combined with a topic of our interest - the environment and climate change. Based on interviews with three expert sources, several reports, research and analyses, we have come up with some projections for the future of the city of Curitiba, in relation to urban planning affected by possible climate catastrophes. All images created with AI are duly marked.

Historical Facts

In this podcast, we seek to establish a dialogue between journalism and history. We want to understand what we have learned and what we have failed to learn from the past. This podcast is linked to the project Fatos Narrativas Midiáticas, from the journalism course at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná. The students who wrote this audio product are Caetano Guimarães, Eduardo Veiga, Giovana Bordini, Isadora Martelli and Maria Luísa Cordeiro.
